Ernst Wagner, lecturer and researcher at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Germany, started the EVC project at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. He is currently serving EVC as executive secretary and webmaster, commissioned by the UNESCO-Chair in Arts and Culture in Education at the University of Erlangen.
He studied art, art education and art history (PhD). After teaching visual arts at secondary schools, he was employed by the Institute for School Quality and Educational Research, Munich (responsible for art, film and drama education). His research focuses on cultural heritage education, intercultural communication, and arts education for sustainable development. He has published more than 350 articles or books.
