BRIEF
The Technical University of Kenya (TUK) and Exploring Visual Cultures (EVC) were coming together for an incredible collaboration. They geared up for the 4th International TUK Conference, and they need a logo that embodies the theme "(A) Eye – AI." The logo for this conference should capture the fusion of art and technology, reflecting the innovative spirit of the exhibition.
SKETCHES
In response to the design call for "(A) Eye – AI," I explored two concepts. The first features an eye with the letter "A" as the pupil, surrounded by circuits to symbolize the fusion of human perception and AI. The second concept uses a capital "A" with the middle line removed, placing an eye within that space, also integrated with technological elements. Both ideas creatively merge human vision with technology, capturing the theme's essence.
LOGO VARIATIONS
LOGO DESCRIPTION
Idea 1
The logo cleverly incorporates the letter A within the shape of an eye, symbolizing the fusion of "(A) eye - AI" and the exploration of visual cultures. The A forms the eye's pupil, highlighting the blend of artificial intelligence with human perception. Geometric shapes and technological elements like circuits and binary codes surround the eye, emphasizing the intersection of human creativity and digital innovation.
Idea 2
The logo features the letter A integrated with an eye, symbolizing the fusion of "(A) eye - AI" and the exploration of visual cultures. The A acts as the framework for the eye, highlighting the blend of artificial intelligence and human perception. Surrounding the eye, geometric shapes and technological elements like circuits and grids emphasize the intersection of creativity and digital innovation.
COLOUR SCHEME
The color scheme features vibrant blues, symbolizing intelligence and trust, with electric green accents for a futuristic feel. The gradient from blue to green represents the seamless integration of AI with human creativity, reflecting the evolving relationship between technology and visual arts.
CHOSEN LOGO "(A) Eye - AI"
This logo not only captures the spirit of the exhibition but also demonstrates the transformative impact of AI on visual culture.
