As part of the visit of Avi Sooful, Chair of the EVC Expert Panel, and the German textbook team, a seminar was held in Winneba. The topic "Sustainable Development Goals and the Power of Images" was addressed by the speakers from a wide range of perspectives and intensively discussed with the numerous audience members. Can there be a joint textbook for schools in Ghana and Germany focusing the subjects art, geography and history? In October 2022, colleagues from Ghana, South Africa and Germany got together to explore this idea ( Link). Initial ideas, concepts, but also concrete drafts have already emerged. In February 2019, a group of Bavarian art teachers started to develop a manual for teachers on intercultural learning in art classes:Â Global Perspectives in Art Education - Objects from West Africa. A manual for Art Teachers in Germany. The project was coordinated by the State Institute for School Quality and Educational Research in Munich. The manual was completed in August 2022. It can be downloaded from this website in German.

Seven4Fifteen
Seven4Fifteen was a transcultural project in art education that works with the concept of "lumbung values" (how proposed by documenta fifteen). It attempts to connect the works of more than 700 people which were created to express these values visually, taking up exceptional daily life references in Mexico and Germany.
